We are pleased to offer our patients a medically supervised and nutritionally sound diet and fitness program. Our program is designed to help you make simples changes that can easily be incorporated into your lifestyle. The philosophy is simple, small changes made consistently yield big results. The small things you do repeatedly, become your habits.
Our program is not a diet, it is a lifestyle change accomplished through small steps. There is no need to deprive yourself or alter your daily life significantly to be healthier and lose weight. We will show you how simple activities, such as changing your snacks or taking the stairs, can have a profound impact on your overall health and fitness.
Medical supervision is provided by Dr. Valente and nutritional counseling and fitness training is by our personal trainer, Ms. Carrie Lewis. The program consists of three stages over 10 weeks. You will be seen once weekly for 5 weeks and every other week for the remaining 5 weeks. Once the 10 week program is over you will be set up for a personal maintenance program in which we will be in contact once a month to make sure you are keeping on track with your new lifestyle.
The program is covered through most major insurance plans.

Carrie has over sixteen years experience in the health and fitness field, and has helped many people achieve their goal of weight loss, fitness and overall better health.
She graduated from the University of North Carolina Greensboro with a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Sciences; and obtained a B.S. in Nutrition Sciences from Kaplan University.
